Andy's Story: In The Tradition Of
Vaudeville And The Ed Sullivan Show

Andy Head grew up in suburban Chicago, where he taught himself how to juggle after watching a juggler on Bozo’s Circus (WGN-TV). Later in college Andy joined The Triton Troupers Circus where he learned new juggling tricks, meet people in show biz, and gained much valuable experience. Another huge influence on Andy’s early juggling career was The International Juggler’s Association...

After attending four IJA juggling conventions, Andy got his act together and entered the International Juggler's Association U.S. Nationals Juggling competition. To his surprise and delight, Andy won the Championship in 1985 and then again in 1991. He was also awarded the prestigious IJA Founders Award, which is given to the Juggler who’s act best reflects the spirit of Vaudeville entertainment.

As a kid, Andy loved watching the Ed Sullivan Show. Little did he know he would perform on that same stage years later as a special guest of The Late Show with David Letterman. It was a great experience for Andy to perform on the same stage as The Beatles and to have Dave say to him: “Man, Andy! Nice job!”.

Over the past 32 years, Andy has performed for audiences in the US, Canada, Japan & Europe. Everything from cruise ships to festivals to birthday parties. Andy's favorite type of audience to perform for is a family crowd - they're always a lot fun and very enthusiastic about his show. Book Now
